Methodology, independence and disclosure
CompareEOR is an independent research resource on Employer of Record services. This page explains how we produce our content and how the site is funded.
We help companies understand what it costs, and what it involves, to employ people in another country. We compile official employment rules and contribution rates, translate them into cost tables at real salary levels, and compare how Employer of Record providers publicly describe their pricing and services.
We do not test, use or review EOR products hands-on, and we never claim to. Our content comes from three kinds of public information:
- Official sources: legislation, social security agencies, tax authorities and labour inspectorates. Every country guide lists them with links.
- Provider documentation: public pricing pages, product pages, help centres and published country guides. We report what providers say, labelled as their claims.
- Transparent calculations: cost tables and the cost estimator use one documented model per country. Its simplifications (for example, applying percentage contributions to total annual gross pay) are stated next to the results.
Every page shows a last-updated date. Figures we haven't yet confirmed against the source are marked Verify until they are checked.
- Providers cannot pay to be included, excluded or ranked.
- We don't publish star ratings or “best overall” awards, because they imply testing we haven't done.
- Where we give guidance, we name the circumstances in which an option fits rather than a single winner.
- Content is general information, not legal, tax or employment advice.
CompareEOR is free to use. Some links to providers are affiliate or partner links: if you click one and later become a customer, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" and pass through a /go/ redirect.
Commissions never change our data, the providers we include, or the order they appear in. We include providers we have no commercial relationship with, and we show the same facts for every provider.
Rates and rules change. If you find an error or outdated figure, see our contact page or email hello@compareeor.com with the page and the source. We correct verified errors and update the page's date.
